The interior of the lodge is decorated with some of the most beautiful and original antiques and paintings and will leave you with a sense of peace and dignity. The very private bedroom cottages, all with bathrooms en suite, have been individually and personally decorated for your comfort and luxury. Our staff have been selected and trained to attend to each of our valued guests so that they feel important and cared for. Dullstroom, with its sprawling farms, trout rivers and dams, has a distinctly Scottish flavour. Critchley Hackle is your home in these highlands. Stay in one of the comfortably appointed bedrooms or luxury suites, built at the lake’s edge.

 
Rooms are spacious and delightful, with a cosy lounge, fireplace and TV. Sip a vintage wine in the bar or enjoy fine dining by candlelight to the sight and sound of water flickering in the night. Critchley Hackle Lodge is the ideal wedding venue. For weddings the entire hotel must be reserved for both Friday and Saturday night or one night mid-week. Our closing policy of 01:00 applies to weekend weddings or 23:00 for mid-week weddings.

Cuisine:
Reception dinner: Five course menu, prices available on request, menu to be discussed with the Head Chef. Special menus available, please advise us of your dietary requirements. Waiters and barmen are provided at no additional cost. A full bar is provided, prices available on request.

Décor & Other Arrangements:
The hotel can supply cream table clothes and serviettes for the colour scheme. Flowers are not included in the costs. We can recommend a florist, minister, piper, harpist, D.J., photographer and marquee rental. Details supplied on request.
