Lagoon Beach offer’s a wide range of venues, from intimate to larger ceremonies in one of our unique boardrooms, to the stunning splendour of one of our pool decks. Our Wedding “Breakfast”, which originates from the days of early English tradition, were a newly wedded couple would “break their fast”, and enjoy a first meal together; offer a tailor made dinning experience from the intimate Lagoon View with it’s panoramic views of the sea, to our sophisticated Atlantic Suite with its own private entrance, the answer for larger wedding parties.

Your Ceremony: We have two pool decks with the most romantic sea views ideal for your wedding ceremony or arrival welcome cocktails, these venues will offer you that dream beach experience in a more suitable and comfortable environment, the use of these venues are subject to seasonal availability. Our beautiful Atrium offer’s a truly unique ceremony experience, in a magical garden setting.

As an added value service the hotel has employed the services of a professional wedding coordinator to assist clients in coordinating their perfect day. The service includes organising any or all of the below listed items. There will also be a coordinator on duty on your Big Day to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Lagoon Beach also offers special accommodation rates for wedding guests. The hotel also boasts a luxurious in-house spa where pamper sessions can be booked. The Spa also offers special bridal packages.

All wedding packages includes standard white table linen for tables, all cutlery, crockery and glassware. Also included are complimentary strawberries and sparkling wine on arrival and a one night complimentary stay for the bridal couple on their wedding night.

Front Pool Deck - This venue boasts a breathtaking view of table mountain, the Port of Cape Town, beach and the ocean. The Gazebo, red carpet and chair covers are also for hire.

Upper Roof Deck

Reception Venues

Atlantic Suite - The venue can cater for 300 Guests including dance floor. Half the venue can cater for 180 Guests including dance floor.

Courtyard Suite - The venue can cater for 80 -100 Guests including a Dance floor.

Abalone Restaurant - The Abalone restaurant with Ocean and Table Mountain views can cater for 120 guests including a dance floor. The Abalone Restaurant can only be booked for lunch time and evening weddings from 12h00 -16h00.

Also on offer is our Library for less than 30 guests.

Dance floors, décor, food and beverages are charged separately. All venues except the Abalone Restaurant are available from 07:30 to 24:00 on the day of the function. A management fee per hour will be levied after 00:30.

COCKTAIL MENU

Below you will find a few interesting cocktails for your guests to sip on. Be original and trade in the normal glass bubbly for a decadent cocktails when toasting:

Almond delight - A delicious blend of vodka, amaretto, kahlua and cream all shaken together to create an almond delight.
Apple martini - Vodka, sourz and triple sec, shaken not stirred over crushed ice.
Beach patrol - Southern comfort, schnapps, malibu, vodka, banana liqueur and fused with two juices over crushed ice.
Bloody Mary - Feeling a little unsettled. Vodka, tomato juice, salt, pepper, tabasco and a dash of Worchester sauce and you’ll feel as good as new.
Chef a la special - Ice cream, a variety four lagoon beach liqueurs and vodka all blended together in a chocolate frosted glass.
Cosmopolitan - A mixture of two white spirits with juice of the day. Shaken and strained.
Lagoon Beach Special - Our very own cocktail built up over ice.
Lions Head - Gin,banana liqueur, cream, a dash of lemonade and blue curaque. A beautiful cocktail.
Margarita - Sit on the deck, sip a margarita while watching the sunset.
Martini - The classically sophisticated black-tie cocktail. Shaken or stirred …
Pina Colada - White sands, blue sky, the ocean a few feet away. What better drink to complement all this.
Pimms Cocktail - Also referred to as the fruit cocktail this is a refreshing cocktail for any time of the day. Pimms with lemonade or ginger ale and diced fruit.
Robben Island Ice Tea - Enjoy five white spirits, all build up over ice, a hint of sourmix and coca cola in one glass while looking out over the Atlantic.
Rocket Fuel - Jimmy Barnes sang about “sitting on the beach drinking Rocket Fuel…” Rum, three white spirits and lemonade and reminisce about the old days.
Twister - Feel entirely twisted once you have tasted our fresh mixed fruit cocktail build up with gin, pimms, mint leaf and topped with apple juice.
Tequila Sunrise - From sunrise to sunset a good time to sip on this long cool cocktail of tequila and orange juice with drops of grenadine.
Sex on the Deck - A must have cocktail. Peach Schnapps, vodka, Southern Comfort and two juices all build up over ice.

This glamorous day spa begins with a ritual given to Bali princesses before their special day. Encased in wonderful aromas of spices and herbs one receives a tumeric and yoghurt body scrub a relaxing floral bath/ herbal shower as well as a specialized massage to ease the tension of organizing the wedding. Following this; a 90min Spa skin facial and paraffin manicure and pedicure.

The next day the bride will receive a Spray Tan to add the finishing touch.
