Lukimbi Safari Lodge is a stunning luxury lodge situated in the easily accessible southern portion of the Kruger National Park, South Africa. Kruger is home to the Big Five and a wide variety of other animals and birds, which roam freely in their natural habitat.

Our charming Baroque-styled chapel may be booked by couples looking for an extra special wedding venue. Alternatively, couples might choose to be married under a Jackalberry tree, serenaded by an African choir. The bridal party is driven to the wedding site by Landrover - certainly an unusual way to make an appearance.
At Lukimbi, we are also able to arrange the formal side of proceedings, assisting with the legal documentation on the day. And when it comes to theming, flowers, your wedding cake, DJ and gourmet cuisine - everything is in the hands of professionals. Lukimbi accommodates 32 people. The lodge must be reserved for a minimum of 2 days for weddings for over 6 people.

Lukimbi has already created a name for itself as one of the new places to enjoy top cuisine. Meals both unusual and beautifully presented add to the whole enjoyable Lukimbi experience. Part of the fun is the changing of venues, so guests may enjoy breakfast in the bush, lunch round the pool and a glamourous candlelit dinner on the wooden decks. Maybe dinner will be in our amazing and mythical boma (or meeting place), an experience you won't forget, or perhaps our chefs will decide to do something completely different.
The bar is a great pre-dinner gathering place to exchange game spotting stories, hear Shangaan tales and to sip cockails. To accompany our fine dining, we have a large cellar where guests are invited to select the best of South African wines, including many of the smaller and upcoming Estates.

If you have been dreaming about an unusual honeymoon destination, Lukimbi is the place. We offer the romance of a suite with a kingsize bed, draped by a high canopy of gauzy netting. Celebrate your marriage with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on your private deck overlooking the river. You will be served a superb dinner for two at one of our mystery venues. Enjoy game drives and walks in the company of other guests, but back at the lodge, you will be given the opportunity to enjoy it all alone, or in the company of staff and guests. We will arrange it just the way you would like to remember your honeymoon forever.
Please remember to advise us that it is your honeymoon when booking, when possible, you will be given a free upgrade to one of our ultra-luxury suites, complete with private pool. Otherwise book one of the suites in advance to be absolutely sure you will get one.

Lukimbi is a photographer's delight and is perfect for romantic photos. However, there is also wild action of a different sort. Our rangers will be pleased to take you on safaris, where you can enjoy seeing the game from open Landrovers. Otherwise go for an exciting guided walk, we have a large population of rhino and other animals guaranteed to get your heart pounding - again! Learn how to track and what Shangaans use to cure headaches. Take a tour to the Sangoma and have your future together foretold by the throwing of the bones. Whether you want to be alone or socialise with the other guests and staff, we arrange it just the way you would like to remember your honeymoon forever.
